Saeco SRCBDB Features:
Plumbed-In Capable
Saeco is proud to offer the only compact Super Automatic Coffee Center with an available connection to your household plumbing. The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar offers a 3/4 inch connection that is compatible with today's standard for home water lines but, with adapters, can fit any size cold water supply. The Royal Coffee Bar also allows you the option to use its 82 ounce water tank which makes this machine perfect to take to catering events or anywhere a plumbed water supply is not immediately available.
Rated For Dependability
The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar is designed for home, office, and light commercial use. Few Super Automatic Coffee Centers are so versatile. You can truly have a coffee bar in your home or office without taking a lot of counter space because the Royal Coffee Bar is compact and it easily tucks under most overhead cabinets. The Royal Coffee Bar will automatically grind the right amount of coffee, tamp and brew at the touch of a button. A metal body ensures durability especially in high traffic environments. The Royal Coffee Bar, and its brother, the Royal Professional are also perfect additions to small sandwich shops or cafe's where there is demand for the occasional latte or cappuccino.
Programmable Automatic Cappuccino Maker
The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar comes equipped with the Cappuccinatore milk frothing device. The easiest way to froth (for cappuccino) and steam (for latte) your milk is with this patented frother design. It automatically siphons milk from your personal milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed milk into your Cappuccino cups. You will never have to worry about running out of steam under heavy demand when you have friends over, as the Royal Coffee Bar only uses enough steam for just that portion of milk. You can also use the Cappuccinatore to automatically produce steamed milk for lattes. This feature is fully programmable and still provides you the option of using the included steam wand for manual frothing and steaming of milk.
Pre-Infusion Brewing
The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar incorporates the Saeco Aroma System to extract the full aroma of coffee beans into every cup. A special pre-programmed step injects a small amount of hot water into the freshly ground coffee to start a pre-brewing process. The actual brewing cycle begins about 2 seconds afterward, allowing for enough time to fully saturate the grounds and achieve maximum flavor.
Dual Rapid Steam Boilers
The power plant of the Saeco Royal Coffee Bar is made of two stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boilers, one for brewing and one for steam. This same technology is found in units such as the Talea Touch Titanium. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the Royal Coffee Bar, and it will be ready to brew in just a few moments. The second Rapid Steam boiler is left turned off to conserve energy until it is needed for steam. ThermoBlock technology channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount of water heated to what the user demands. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. When you are ready to steam or froth your milk, simply turn the steam knob, and the Royal Coffee Bar will fire up the second boiler and start pouring out steam in about 10 seconds.
Simple Programming And Operation
The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar includes 3 programmable coffee brewing buttons. To set these, simply push and hold the button of choice until the desired amount of espresso is dispensed up to 8 ounces. Once you release the button, the Royal Coffee Bar will remember your setting each time you brew your favorite beverage. Use the Saeco Opti-Dose system to adjust the amount of ground espresso to be used each time you brew. It adjusts from 6 to 9 grams (mild to strong) and will retain your setting unless you choose to change it manually. Making beverages could not be easier. Simply push your programmed drink button and let the Royal Coffee Bar do the rest.
Multi-Function Digital Display
Are you tired of espresso machines that communicate to you with blinking lights and leave you wondering what exactly they may be doing Upgrade to an interactive LCD screen that not only tells you want the Saeco Royal Coffee Bar is doing but also informs you if it requires any action on your part. The LCD offers a menu and list of programming functions that are never found on non-digital units. Program cup sizes and brewing temperatures. Operate the automatic rinsing and descaling cycles. Program a set amount of time for the Royal Coffee Bar to automatically power down when idle and even see how many cups have been brewed on the unit.
Professional Burr Grinding
The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar features a built-in conical burr grinder with 7 different grind settings to accommodate different coffee roasts and personal tastes. Conical burr grinders are made up of a cone shaped grinding wheel that turns slow enough not to burn the coffee beans, (a problem with low cost grinders). The heavy-duty steel of the grinding wheel promotes a life of long service and is strong enough to resist damage from the little stones that sometimes slip in with the beans. As an added bonus, the Royal Coffee Bar also sports a bypass doser for pre-ground coffee. This is a great feature if you want to enjoy a decaf espresso or try a new roast without digging out the beans in the hopper.
Commercial Accommodation
The Royal Coffee Bar manages to squeeze in a few important accents, making it a much more versatile unit. A 10 ounce bean hopper and 82 ounce water tank give the Royal Coffee Bar one of the highest capacities in its class. Even the used pucks drawer is larger, holding up to 25 spent espresso pucks. Take advantage of the over-sized drip tray that will accommodate even the widest of latte mugs. The height-adjustable coffee spout allows for a wider range of cup sizes as well. Pre-heat your ceramic espresso and latte cups with the Bon Temp Heating Surface. Cold cups kill the crema and thus the exquisite taste of espresso. Stave off disappointment and start with a warm cup. For even less heat loss, use the Rapid Steam wand to further pre-heat your cups.
Water Filtration
The Saeco Royal Coffee Bar can utilize the optional Aqua Prima water filter (sold separately) to not only improve the taste of your coffee, but also to protect the internal components of the machine. Regular replacement of the Aqua Prima filter ensures the removal of chlorine, lead, aluminum, and copper for a better tasting coffee. It will also reduce the formation of limescale and protect the Royal Coffee Bar from the corrosive nature of tap water. This filter is only available for use on the Royal Coffee Bar when water is supplied from the 82 ounce tank. If the plumb-in feature is being used, be sure that your water supply is either either softened or naturally soft to avoid the need to descale the boiler.
Easy Cleanup
The patented Saeco Easy Clean System removable internal brew group has been tested millions of times throughout the world. It only takes a simple gesture for it to be quickly and easily removed from the machine and cleaned. Just rinse it under running water to remove all traces of dirt and coffee residues, which when left inside the machine, change the flavor of the coffee and interfere with the correct functioning of the brew group. When this cleaning is done in conjunction with the automatic descaling cycle, the Royal Coffee Bar will produce consistently delicious espresso every time you turn it on.
For Use with Superautomatika Blend
It's a little known fact that Super Automatic espresso coffee centers brew the best coffee when using only a special kind of bean. While it's true that the Saeco Royal Coffee Bar can be filled with most kinds of coffee beans, the greatest flavor and tallest crema are achieved when brewing Superautomatika Blend, the only coffee crafted specifically for super-automatic machines. The beans that make up Superautomatika Blend are picked, roasted, and blended solely for use in super automatic coffee centers.

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. This warranty virtually guarantees you that if your newly purchased product fails, the manufacturer will protect you from the high costs of replacement parts and labor necessary to repair your product. Extended service plans lengthen your product's coverage for up to an additional 60 months (5 years) to insure you get years of performance satisfaction from your newly purchased product.
How is this different than the manufacturer's warranty?
A manufacturer's warranty usually offers limited coverage for a limited time, with parts and labor carrying separate lengths of coverage. For example, a common manufacturer warranty of a product might cover a consumer for one full year on parts defects but only 90 days on the high cost of labor involved to change those parts. Extended service plans provide comprehensive, long term, even length coverage. This means that should your product fail within your plans coverage time frame, both parts and labor costs are covered.
How do I buy an Extended Service Plan?
Extended Service Plans can be purchased along with your product online, or via our toll free number.
Can I renew my Consumer Priority Service extended service plan?
Yes, service plans are renewable and must be submitted 30 days prior to the original plans expiration. Please contact a sales representative to discuss your renewal options.
What should I do if I need extended service?
Our extended service providers offer an easy to use interactive form online which you may use to request that they initiate a claim on your product. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number on your extended warranty card or email and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide. We believe that our claim initiation request process is the absolute best our industry has to offer. It is designed for simplicity and speed.
Who will perform the service on my product?
Our company works with over 11,000 authorized service professionals. Each technician is extensively trained by the respective manufacturers to provide service on your products. Authorized technicians must complete annual and bi-annual continued education exams in addition to being well versed in manufacturer supplied update bulletins to ensure their level of expertise is as current as the new products which come to market. We urge our customers to provide feedback regarding their experiences which we later use to insure that the level of service we are expected to provide is exactly the level of service you receive.
May I transfer my extended service plan to another person?
Our service plans are 100% transferable. If you would like transfer ownership of the covered product along with its coverage, we require that the request be supplied in writing. For assistance please contact a Representative. Please have all of the new owner's information at hand when requesting a transfer.
Will I have to pay a deductible or any other "hidden costs"?
Generally, the amount of a deductible is almost always proportional to the amount of the premium charged. In order to have a lower deductible, even as low as $0, the plan holder would generally have to agree to a higher premium. For those who want lower premiums, they must agree to a higher deductible. Our extended service plans carry a $0.00 deductible along with low premiums. This means that with an extended service plan there are no high upfront costs and they are committed to cover 100% parts and labor costs on any authorized claim.
